Gardening Group

As part of Harbourside WI's contribution towards the Town's "Portishead in Bloom" activities, a group of our members, sometimes accompanied by their husbands, meet about every 6 weeks (more often in the summer months) to tend three flower beds.

We usually meet on a Monday at 2pm by the flower beds on the corner of Rodmoor Road and Lake Road adjacent to the Bowling Greens on the Lake Grounds for about 1 hour. Afterwards we often reward ourselves with a cup of tea in one of the town's cafes.

These beds are greatly admired by the general public who really appreciate what we do.
