President's November 2022 Address

To continue with the Roman theme , November comes from the Roman word for ninth - NONUS. Even though we all know by now that the changes made to use a different calendar meant it is no longer the ninth month for us.

It is the month where we take time to remember those who have fallen in wars and conflict. For me it’s a time to be grateful for the free life I am able to lead.

I am sat here in my thermal socks , looking at the beauty of autumn all around me , wearing layers under a thick jumper to keep warm and my clothing routine goes some way to avoid putting the heating on too soon. I have yet to go as far as a woolly hat indoors..but bed socks are now an essential norm.
