- Access to Clarence House: Disabled parking, wheelchair access with ramp (if required) because of two shallow steps in the entrance.

- Danielle Greenwood taught us how to play the ukulele. She is the founder of the Uke Lift Project.
- Becky Barnes told us about Sustainable Fashion.
- The August social event with picnic and stalls was a great success. We had four stalls comprising of: plants, Karen Lupton Perfect Views photographer cards and gifts, Seaview Glass, and Laura's Bows. We also had a delicious picnic supplied by members.
- Geoff Vian, a RNLI volunteer, told us about the RNLI and the state-of-the-art Portishead Lifeboat Station that opened in 2015.
- Ashley Jones works as a Regional Fraud Protection Advisor, South West Regional Organised Crime Unit, for Avon and Somerset Police, and provides Crime Prevention Advice. Ashley also helped set up a charity called The Senior Citizen Liaison Team, that provides opportunities for older adults to benefit from crime prevention advice, victim aftercare services, and social inclusion events, and more. - Sam from Heaven on the Hill demonstrated how to ice a Christmas cake.
- Chris Yeo from Clevedon Salesrooms talked about how he valued antiques.
- Andrew Hill from Portishead Lions Club demonstrated how to revive someone, and talked about the Lions 4 Life project to obtain defibrillators for Portishead.
