Our Programme

Our monthly meetings consist primarily of a wide range of interesting talks, and some social events. Afterwards, there is always time for a hot drink, a biscuit, and a chat with new and old friends.

13 March 2024A Day in the Life of a Methodist Minister

A talk by the Reverend Nick Moxon. Portishead Methodist church has been a part of the local community since the mid 1800’s. Having started in a rented house as a missional congregation within the village of Portishead, the congregation moved to its present site, in the Wesley Centre, in 1887. The Church's vision is ‘to be a worshipping, welcoming, growing Church for all ages, committed to seeing people’s lives and communities transformed by the love of God in Jesus Christ.’
