Seafarers Mission Christmas 2022 Donations

Seafarers mission. Marina WI decided this year to continue our support to the many seafarers who play their part in delivering items by sea to our shores.

Rather than boxing up toiletries and gifts as we did last year, we thought we would provide items loose to be picked out as the workers liked or needed.

Two very large cardboard boxes full of items were donated by our ladies and these were delivered to the Seafarers mission on Friday 11th November.

Julie S, our president, delivered two large heavy boxes of toiletries and treats to the seafarers' mission at Portbury Dock. David, area co-ordinator and Adrian, centre manager received the boxes and expressed their gratitude for the generosity and kindness of the ladies of Marina WI. Well done everyone. It was a very impressive contribution.

A fellow staff member will be giving us a talk about the Seafarers and the Mission early in 2023.
